Sailormen and sloops

riding the edge of a glistening wave
the winds make sailormen brave
standing away to storms chilling air
feeling her teeth that few others dare
humming shrouds and a sinuous wake
sailormen give and sailormen take
the rain is cold on a sailormans face
but fullsail heeling is a feeling of grace
sail to the moon in the dark of the night
or steer for the sun on its watery flight
