Time travelers
like two comets
hurtling along
from opposite ends
of the universe. . .
attracted to each other
by some unknown
magnetism,
we collided
and became attached
for just a short time
and then after being so close,
we imploded,
outside in to one
and inside out to the other,
by the same force
that brought us together
karma, perhaps,
then away we flew once more
on our solitary journeys . . .
