Haikus of Minnesota
massive cloudgray birch
Minnetonka spirit lake
it knows many things
. . . . .
winding endless shores
everchanging hues of green
the grazing geese move
. . . . .
clouds soar cottonwhite
the sky sings in cobalt blue
our color is now
. . . . .
cold, cold, day to run
far, so far, from Texas sun
cold, cold, air to breathe
. . . . .
