Unidentified shining
strange lonely lights shiny and lonesome
weird glowing orbs in the sky
alien beings hovering nightly
they never come near us
and the people ask why?
odd luminescence off in the distance
remote tiny spots in the sky
alien trippers waiting for something
they never come near us
and the people ask why?
winking and blinking lights unfamiliar
they hover and hang in the sky
strange foreign creatures waiting their moment
they never come near us
and the people ask why?

Un Named
what's a bird
supposed to do
when he is down
below the blue
as if were clipped
his wings lift not
he crawls along
as if he was shot
he slogs along
but can not fly
he tries to laugh
but wants to cry
he slowly walks
and sometimes falls
he stays behind
his mortal walls
limping sadly
through the times
he pays the price
for guesswork crimes

After sailing on the Lake of the Pines
clouds were stacked
in mottled heaps
upon the western shore
we sliced the waves
while heeling low
our troubles were no more
pink and purple
clouds were ours
and so was time that day
warm sun and laughs
came falling down
and naught was in our way
the blue green hills
were miles away
and we slipped the mortal coil
we laughed and loved
the day away
forgetting earthly toil
blue-on-blue
as skies above
bore clouds so soft and free
time was fine
and it was ours
for only you and me . . . .

stranger . . . . .
stranger, do not follow me
i did not ask you for your name
i did not ask you why you came
stranger, all dressed in blue
leave me be i don't know you
stranger, do not follow me
i did not ask you here inside
i did not ask you to abide
stay back inside that darkened hall
flattened up against that wall
stranger,do not follow me
i did not ask you for advice
i did not ask you for your price
do not follow any nearer
i can see you in that mirror
stranger,do not follow me
i did not ask you for your heart
i only ask you, please depart
do not touch me with your eyes
i'm not fooled by your disguise

gone
she's gone, she's gone
her memory will fade
like colors in a photograph
with edges torn and frayed
she's gone, she's gone
she never will return
often when i think of her
i feel my torn heart burn
she's gone, she's gone
like a raindrop in the sea
loosed upon the populace
she's gone away from me
she's gone, she's gone
a slice of life we shared
often in my retrospect
i leave my feelings bared
